Brother Laddie Wilson was born in 1946 and grew up in Monterey, Tennessee graduating from Monterey High School in 1965. Upon graduating, Brother Wilson joined the United States Marine Corps, serving a tour in Vietnam in 1967-1968. He attained the rank of Staff Sgt. and received an Honorable Discharge in 1971. While in the Marines, Laddie came home and married Brenda Jernigan of Monterey in 1966.

After Brother Wilson’s active military duty, he began work as a brick & block mason. While working full time and supporting his family, he attended Volunteer State Community College at nights and graduated cum laude in 1976 with an Associate of Science Degree. Brother Wilson continued working in the masonry business as a bricklayer, superintendent, and later as Vice President of field operations for General Masonry. In 1991, Brother Wilson founded C & W Masonry, Inc. and served as President until he closed the company and retired on December 31, 2011.

Brother Wilson and Brenda have been blessed with two children and three beautiful grandchildren. Their daughter, Crystal is married to Andy Stokely and they have a daughter named Parker. Their son, Tony is married to Karen Wilson and they have twins named Madison and Mason.

Brother Wilson was raised a Master Mason in Hendersonville Lodge No. 359, on December 28th, 1985 and served as Worshipful Master of Hendersonville Lodge No. 359 in 1992. He is also a plural member of Green Pond Lodge #703. Brother Wilson is a 32° KCCH Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Nashville. He is a Past High Priest of Cumberland Chapter #1 Royal Arch Masons and a recipient of the Order of High Priesthood. He is a member of Nashville Council #1 Cryptic Masons, and a member of Nashville Commandery No. 1, Knights Templar. He is a member of the Middle Tennessee York Rite College No. 143, the Old Hickory Conclave Order of the Red Cross of Constantine, and the Masonic Societas Rosicruciana Citibatibus Foederatis. Brother Wilson is a life member of Hendersonville Lodge #359, a life member of Cumberland Chapter #1, a life member of The Royal Order of Scotland, and a life member Andrew Jackson Chapter #385 National Sojourners.

Brother Wilson is a member of Ezra Council #89 Knight Masons, a charter member of the Civil War Lodge of Research and a member of Hendersonville Chapter #477 Order of Eastern Star. He is a member of Al Menah Shrine; a member of its Provost Guard and past President of the Hendersonville Shrine Club. Brother Wilson is a recipient of the “Yellow Dog degree” and the Masonic Order of the 4 Black Llamas. He is currently serving on the Planning Committee for the Conference of Grand Masters of Masons in North America for 2013 Conference.

Brother Wilson has served the Grand Lodge of Tennessee and its Most Worshipful Grand Masters in several capacities. He served as Grand Marshal in 1994-95 for MWPGM Thomas Earl Hager and also served as Grand Marshal for MWPGM Paul Lincoln Phillips in 2004-05. Brother Wilson served as the Chairman of the Arrangements Committee from 1999 to 2007. He served as a County Chairman from 2000 to 2006.

Brother Wilson was elected Right Worshipful Junior Grand Warden March 26, 2009 and has advanced each year, being elected Most Worshipful Grand Master on March 29, 2012.
