Born August 1797

Died February 22, 1847, Killed in the Battle of Beuna Vista in the Mexican War. His body was exhumed by his fellow soldiers and carried back to Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was laid to rest in Evergeen Cemetery August 3, 1847
